Success storyWebsite redesignTravel & visas

A visa agency
that looks approved.

Bowagate Travels helps Nigerians get UK, Canada, Schengen, US and Dubai visas. Its first website was a templated WordPress page on a subdomain, put up to capture leads, and it didn’t. In three weeks we replaced it with a premium site on its own domain, with a page for every service and destination.

The business

A trusted agency,
a stopgap website.

Bowagate Travels has helped Nigerians travel for more than seven years. It handles visa applications for over 55 countries, along with flight tickets, hotel reservations and travel insurance, and has won more than 5,000 visas with a 98% approval rate.

Its first website was a quick fix: a templated WordPress site on travels.bowagateglobal.com, put up to catch leads while the team focused on clients. It looked like many other templates, lived on another company’s address, and the leads never really came.

The brief was to make the agency look as premium online as its record deserves, and to turn visitors into applications.

Before and after

Same agency.
A far better first impression.

The old site is gone, so here is what changed for applicants, in words.

Before
  • A generic template that looked like many others
  • Hosted on a subdomain, not its own address
  • Little detail on destinations, documents or steps
  • A lead form that rarely brought in leads
After
  • A premium design made for Bowagate Travels alone
  • Its own domain: bowagatetravels.com
  • A dedicated page for each major visa destination
  • A free eligibility check and WhatsApp on every page

The hard part

Three problems to solve.

None of them were about colours and fonts.

01

Trust before the first click

Visa applicants are wary, and agencies vary widely. The site had to earn trust quickly, with real figures, client stories and plain answers.

02

Dozens of destinations, one clear path

The UK, US, Canada, Schengen countries, Dubai, Australia, China, Qatar and more each needed a page, without burying visitors in menus.

03

Refused before

Many visitors arrive after a refusal. They needed their own route that explains what can be fixed, not a generic contact form.

What applicants see

A site built

Behind the scenes

The work most
designers skip.

The parts a visitor never sees, but the agency feels every day.

Search first

Found by people searching for visas.

Applicants start on Google, with searches like “visa processing in Lagos” or “UK visa from Nigeria”. A template on a subdomain had little chance of showing up.

So we built for search from day one. Its own domain, a page for each destination with a clear title and description, and a travel updates section to keep the site fresh.

  1. Its own domainbowagatetravels.com, a name the agency owns and builds on
  2. Destination pagesOne page per visa, written for the searches applicants use
  3. Travel updatesNews and guides that keep bringing visitors back

FORMS

Every enquiry lands

Eligibility checks go straight to the team, with WhatsApp for applicants who prefer to chat.

ACCESS

Easier for everyone to use

Accessibility tools built in, so more visitors can read and use the site comfortably.

TRACKING

Know what works

Google Analytics and Site Kit set up, so the team can see which pages bring in applications.

Where it stands

Live, and bringing
in applications.

The new site went live within three weeks and brings in steady enquiries through the eligibility check and WhatsApp. It keeps growing with the agency: more than 25 new visa pages were added in October 2026.
