The four routes, explained

The quiz points you to one of four routes. Here is what each one covers. Package prices are in USD.

Nigerian-owned · from $450

Diaspora Start

For a wholly Nigerian-owned company registered from abroad. It covers private limited company registration with CAC, Tax ID (TIN) registration guidance, a non-resident BVN walkthrough for Nigerians, a bank document pack and a first-year compliance calendar.

Government filing fees and six months of support are included.

Brand and website · $1,350

Diaspora Build

For a company that needs to look and work like a real business. It adds brand identity and guidelines, a professional website, business email setup and three contract templates.

It includes everything in Diaspora Start.

Ongoing · $200 per month

Oversight

For a registered company that needs to stay in good standing while you are away. It tracks annual returns, PSC filing and tax dates, with a short written report each month.

Add it after Start or Build. Marketing is available separately.

Foreign participation · quoted after review

Foreign participation review

For a founder who holds only a foreign passport, or a company with any non-Nigerian shareholder, even a small one. This route adds registration with the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission, in most cases a Business Permit from the Ministry of Interior, and a higher share capital requirement.

Published sources differ on the amount, so we confirm the current figure with you before anything is filed.

Questions people ask before they start

Do I need to travel to Nigeria to register?

Not for the registration. CAC filing is online and we handle it for you. A bank may still ask for identity checks, and some sector licences require an on-site inspection. We tell you early if your plan needs either.

I hold two passports, or I have a Nigerian parent. Which route is mine?

Tell us at the start. How your shareholding is treated decides whether the foreign participation rules apply, and we confirm it with you before anything is filed.

Will you open my business bank account?

The bank decides on the account, so we cannot promise it. We prepare the documents banks usually ask for, and Nigerians abroad also get a walkthrough of the non-resident BVN enrolment.

Is the quiz legal advice?

No. It is a general guide to the route that usually applies. We confirm your route with you before anything is filed.

What happens to the details I enter?

We use them to show your route and to follow up on your enquiry. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.
